Originally, I had a long review here, but then I had to update it because Ezra did us another "solid". But the original review was erased, so I'm posting this. Now that I think about it my experience with "findingacontractor.com" can be said a lot easier.

Back in February, I needed a new flat roof for my mom's house. After having a few different contractors tell me how the other contractors we going to rip me off, I decided that all I really needed was a guy who was willing to 1) spell out everything which was to be done in a readable version of a contract, 2) relieve me of the stress of worrying about somebody falling off the roof and filing a lawsuit, 3) give a good warranty, and 4) give a good price.
We signed up with Mr. Ezra Eyal of "findingacontractor.com" The roof was completed on March 4.

Ezra absolutely hit the mark on all four points!

CONTRACT:
I hate getting that second yellow part of a contract with scribbled writing so that even when I'm at home reviewing it even i can't read what's on there. Ezra's contractor typed up the bid (which was included in the folder Ezra gave us) and sent it to me via e-mail so there was no question about the work to be done.

STRESS:
I am paranoid. I believe people are going to jump off the roof just to sue us. Ezra got us a company that not only had the license and bond, but ALSO state workers compensation insurance. I slept easy knowing we were covered.

WARRANTY:
10 year warranty on the contract itself, signed by the owner. You can't beat that.

PRICE:
Lowest price of three of the four bids. BUT, our project ended up including some extra work (which Ezra brought to our attention and none of the others did) with was never discussed on the other bids. The extra work was cutting out a section of a wall. I'm only guessing, but my guess is that was probably another $500 worth of work, easily. So, if I add that $500 to the other bids, clearly Ezra was the lowest. And the second lowest bid was a year old and the numbers on his bid (the second lowest one) didn't add up to the total he wrote, so I was never really sure which amount was correct. In any case. Ezra beat he other bids by at least $300 up to $2,000.

(BONUS) QUALITY OF WORK:
Building inspector said, "ah, a cool roof, Good, Looks like you have a lot of good drainage up there." 

(BONUS) AFTER THE WORK
We also had a problem with the plumbing, we thought there was air in the lines. Ezra said he didn't want somebody coming over telling us a whole lot of stuff to do since he believed it was a simple problem. Ezra promised he would fix that for us as a parting gift for our recent roofing business. Just now, his guy came over and installed new faucet. Simple and easy. We realize it was more than he said, he did have to go buy a faucet, so we did offer to pay. 

But honestly, now that know Ezra I knew he wouldn't accept it. And he didn't.

Thanks again Ezra, from myself and my mother! Obviously, your number is the number we call when we need a contractor in the future!
